The company has donated 30,000 litres of natural mineral water, personal protective equipment and hydroalcoholic gel

The complicated situation sparked by the COVID-19 crisis has prompted natural mineral water company, Aquadeus, to do its bit to contain the spread of coronavirus. The company has donated personal protective equipment, such as powder-free vinyl gloves and surgical masks, and hydroalcoholic gel to hospitals in Castilla-La Mancha in an attempt to ease the problems being caused by the lack of these materials.

Aquadeus has also delivered 30,000 litres of water to the region’s hospitals and to Cáritas Murcia, who will help distribute the items to those who are being most affected by the current critical health situation. What’s more, the company forms part of the voluntary water bank set up by ANEABE, the Spanish Association of Water Bottling Companies, which has committed to, along with the Spanish Red Cross, meeting the mineral water needs of its partner institutions and NGOs.

This way, the company hopes to contribute to society in these difficult times, during which the support of all—administrations, companies and citizens alike—has become vital in the fight against the common enemy, coronavirus.

Aquadeus appreciates the effort of its entire team in this exceptional situation and its commitment to ensuring that its products reach the whole population. Since the beginning of this crisis, the company has adopted all of the necessary measures to, above all, protect the safety of its workers and consumers.

Aquadeus participates in a wide range of charitable work and takes parts in countless events organised by NGOs and other not-for-profit organisations, with the goal of raising money for the collectives that need it most.

It currently collaborates with Manos Unidas, the Spanish Association for Rare Diseases, UNICEF, the Spanish Association for Transplant Patients and the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), among many others, and last year alone it donated more than 410,000 litres of water to Cáritas and food banks. The mineral water company’s source can be found in El Arquillo protected natural area in the Sierra de Alcaraz mountain range in Albacete.
